Children took on the role of mini police officers for a second year running.
A group of nine- and 10-year-olds from Woodhall Primary School in South Oxhey donned yellow visor jackets and police caps and went to work in the community.
It is part of the Mini Police programme to help children understand officers’ work.

This week, they were monitoring traffic in Little Oxhey Lane with officers Chris and Connor from the Safer Neighbourhood Team.
The children were holding up signs with a big 30-mile speed limit logo that also said: “please slow down on our roads”.
Next, the year 5 pupils will speak with a British Transport Police officer, meet a police working dog and its handler, and learn about anti-social behaviour.
The Mini Police scheme is designed for children aged between nine and 11.
It aims to build trust with communities, promote responsible citizenship and help young people establish an interest and understanding in policing and community safety.
