Year 6 Work

In Year 6, we love to up-level our writing! We created a useful Synonym display to support us.

In English, we have to master the spelling of many tricky words. We wrote ‘homophone riddles’ to help us remember these.

In English, we are reading the book ‘Holes’. We began by describing the setting, Camp Green Lake.

In Year 6, we have been completing creative homework projects. One student even brought in her snakes to accompany her presentation on animals!

In Science, Year 6 have been studying Evolution and Inheritance. Some of us made fossils from salt dough and Plaster of Paris. Many of us baked delicious fossil cakes too!
